2024 Tannat Rose

Our inaugural vintage of this rosé will have you dreaming of spending the summer in Provence, France with its beautiful peach color and refreshing acidity.  Full of aromas of plum, raspberry, peach, red cherry, fresh red roses, spring tulips, and salted pralines, it is a fabulous example of what this lesser known grape can do.  Originally from Southwest France, Tannat is now the most widely planted grape in Uruguay with plantings spreading throughout the New World including our Fallen Down Tree vineyard in California.  Tannat is widely held to be one of the healthiest grapes due to its very high levels of antioxidants.
