2023 Sangiovese Cinghiale

Super Tuscan styles originated in Italy in the 1970s as a way for winemakers to buck tradition and experiment with things outside the norm.  Now some of the world’s most sought after wines, their innovation clearly paid off.  Our California Super Tuscan is made from 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and fills the glass with aromas of violets, cranberries, iris, red plums, sour cherries, pomegranates, black cherries, boysenberries, white pepper, mocha, mint, parsley, vanilla, tobacco, coffee, cinnamon, all spice, and cigar.  With a vibrant acidity, a round mouth feel, and a rich structure, this wine is a showstopper.
