Uncork | This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from our single vineyard in Monterey is reminiscent of Old World examples of the grape coming from Bordeaux, France.

Uncork | While best known as the grape of Argentina, this grape variety is actually from Southwestern France near Cahors where it is called Côt (pronounced “coat”). 

Pairing | Grab a bottle for dinner, and pair it with grilled sausages with caramelized vegetables, a pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries, chicken mole, mushroom empanadas, or truffle macaroni and cheese.

Uncork | A single vineyard wine from our Fallen Down Tree vineyard, this is a perfect example of that elusive French concept of terroir: the unique combination of climate, soil, topography, and people that make a wine what it is.

Uncork | While the name Petite Sirah can be deceiving, this wine is anything but little.  With rich, lush tannins and a full-body, this inaugural vintage of Petite Sirah from Taboche packs a punch.  Petite Sirah is a cross between its namesake grape Syrah and a nearly extinct grape from the French Alps called Peloursin.  The cross was discovered in France’s Rhone Valley in the 1800s.  Also known as Durif, it is one of the grapes that has the highest concentration of anthocyanins (and therefore antioxidants) making it one of the healthiest wines you can drink.

Pairing | Pair it with pepper crusted steak, beef stroganoff, Greek moussaka, or red bean and beef chili.

Tasting Notes | Aromas of red cherries, roasted tomatoes, cedar, oregano, basil, espresso, lavender, black cherries, leather, cocoa powder, wild blackberries, hazelnut, green olives, violets, and raspberries all leap from your glass. 

Uncork | If you want to transport yourself to the picturesque hills of Tuscany, pour yourself a glass of this beautiful garnet colored Sangiovese.  Originally from Central Italy, you can now find great examples of this grape throughout the New World. 

Pairing | Some of our favorites include sundried tomato and feta pizza, grilled cauliflower steaks, seared tuna, lamb tagine, minestrone, braised lamb shanks, portabella and pecorino penne, and polenta with sausage.

Tasting Notes | Aromas of violets, cranberries, iris, red plums, sour cherries, pomegranates, black cherries, boysenberries, white pepper, mocha, mint, parsley, vanilla, tobacco, coffee, cinnamon, all spice, and cigar.

Uncork | Super Tuscan styles originated in Italy in the 1970s as a way for winemakers to buck tradition and experiment with things outside the norm.  Now some of the world’s most sought after wines, their innovation clearly paid off. Grab a few bottles for now and a few more to cellar for the next 5-8 years.

Pairing | With a vibrant acidity, a round mouth feel, and a rich structure, this wine is a showstopper.  Pair it with a French dip sandwich, pasta Bolognese, Ossobuco, French onion soup, carnitas, or the classic pairing Bistecca alla Fiorentina. 

Tasting Notes | This full-bodied wine is filled with aromas of purple plums, blackberries, currants, cocoa, black pepper, mocha, violets, tart pomegranate, olives, blueberries, fig, black pepper, and potting soil.

Uncork | With its inky purple color and plush tannins, this velvety Syrah is reminiscent of the Syrahs coming from the Rhone Valley in France where the grape originated.  

Pairing | Pair our single vineyard Syrah with shredded beef ragu, a brisket sandwich, braised short ribs, or flank steak with chimichurri sauce.

Tasting Notes | Filled with aromas of red and black cherries, black currants, blackberries, Christmas fruitcake, violets, black pepper, mocha, pencil lead, cedar, vanilla, craisins, sundried tomatoes, and jalapenos, the wine has lush tannins and a full body. 

Uncork | Enjoyable now and will continue to evolve, soften and become more pronounced. 

Pairing | Pair it with duck breast and cherry sauce, lamb chops with mint jelly, a blue cheese burger, short ribs, dry-aged ribeye, or grilled eggplant.
